FAQs

How long will the chocolate last? TOP
Our chocolate is made to order and will have a years shelf life guaranteed when you receive it.

What sort of chocolate is it? TOP
Belgian Milk Chocolate.

Can I have a different flavoured chocolate? TOP
Yes this is possible as the chocolate is made to order however on some flavours a minimum order will be required.  Please contact us first.

How do I store my favours once received if I do not need them for a period of time? TOP
Store in a cool dry place, NOT a fridge as this can damage the wrapper.

Do you have a minimum order? TOP
No, no order is too small.

Can I get a free sample? TOP
Sorry, as the chocolate is made to order we do not offer free samples, however as there is no minimum order, please feel free to order the designs you like with your personalisation.

Do you have a shop? TOP
No, we are purely internet, Wedding Fayre, Craft Fair based.  Dates of shows we are at will be posted on the website in the Event Calendar.

Can I collect my order? TOP
We are based in Shiremoor, Newcastle upon Tyne and you are welcome to collect your order if you wish.

How much is shipping and how do you ship? TOP
There is a flat fee of £6.95 for every order.  Depending on the size of the order despatch is either by Royal Mail or courier.

Do you ship internationally? TOP
Yes we do, please contact us for a quote before ordering.

I am only ordering samples, do I still have to pay this shipping charge? TOP
Yes, however if you are ordering samples then this amount can be redeemed against a full order provided it is within 30 days of the original order.  Please contact us when you are ready to place that order for a redemption code.

Can I get another coloured foil? TOP
No, the only foil we do is gold or silver.

If I order a lot of chocolates can I get a reduction? TOP
There are no reductions on mini chocolates as these are already priced very reasonably however on some of our other items you will see quantity reductions in the product description.  The shopping cart will work it out for you.

Why do I have to pay extra for place setting names? TOP
This is because when we print a set of wrappers off with the same information it takes far less time to create that wrapper than a set of wrappers with each individual guest's name on. This extra amount covers paper wastage and time, but as you can see is not an astronomical amount.

Can I add a photograph? TOP
Yes, just email us with a jpeg image of a good quality photgraph you want to use and we will do the rest.  There is no extra charge for this service. 

How long does it take for delivery? TOP
I aim to despatch in 20 working days, however this can sometimes overrun during busy periods so please ensure you specify if you have a latest required date e.g if you are taking them abroad and will be leaving the country sooner.  If you specify this then I will assume that it is not critical to receive your order within the 20 working days and use my judgement during busy periods for despatch.  Many thanks.

Do I have to use the messages you have on the samples? TOP
No not at all, these are just our most common messages but you can have absolutely anything you want, but bear in mind the more words on the minis the smaller the font, so try and stick to the same amount of words as in the samples.

Do you provide business/promotional chocolates? TOP
Yes we do, use the custom chocolate option and let us have the details of logo (jpeg format) and personalisation required and we will email you some proofs.

Why does all my personalisation not show up? TOP
Generally this is because you have placed one order already with one set of personalisation and then you have used the back button to go to the same item and add the next set of personalisation, this will just add an extra qty to your item already in the basket so you will have 2 bars with the same personalisation.  You need to add your item to the basket and then select the same product again to get the new personalisation, do not use the back button.

Can I see a proof before it is printed? TOP

Proofs are always provided by email before going to print.  This is simply for two reasons:
 
a.  We could have mis-spelt names, or changed dates etc; and
 
b.  It has been known for us to be given the wrong date by a client (it was a groom!).
 
It is therefore your responsiblity to check that the proof is correct and confirm to us either way, we will not commence an order until we have your confirmation.
 
Proofs will be sent within 48 hours, please allow a little longer for busy times of the year, if you have not received your proof within 72 hours then please contact us.
